DIFFERENT TYPES OF SHORT FILMS

There are many different types of short films. Short films can have a variety of different genres, which are the same as feature length films. These can range from comedy, historical, animated and more. Short films are usually films that have been made on a smaller budget and usually with a less experienced crew. 

Short films can be made by independent and university students as it requires less money whilst also allowing people to show off their acting, directing, editing and storytelling talents. Short films are usually niche topics, such as films with subtitles or are mute films. Directors of these short films do not have to focus on what will make money, as the money usually spent on short films are a very small amount, allowing them to focus on passion projects.
