Research into Postcards

I investigated film postcards, and I have noticed that not many cinemas have film postcards, one main cinema who has kept it up is Curzon cinema.
Film postcards are used for movies that do not have lots of marketing, they do not have large posters and trailers. They are easy to hand out and spread the word about an upcoming movie. Film postcards are able to show in a very condensed format the brief of the film, allowing more people to hear about the movie, from a portable and easy to make postcard. It is used mainly at film festivals as it is compact and cheaper to make, film festivals are perfect places for film postcards as they are giving them to an audience who are already involved and interested about films.

Film postcards are not bulky, unlike posters and magazines postcards are much lighter and easier to move around. It is much easier to travel around with, they are much smaller and lots of postcards are much easier to travel with than posters.
Film postcards have enough space to have for the films synopsis and their QR codes and contact information all on the postcard. This allows all the relevant and needed information to all be on one small postcard.
Film Postcards are very cheap to make, they are very affordable for film companies and indie filmmakers. The costs depend on the effects that are wanted to add. But the regular postcard costs just a few cents higher than a business card.
